Timed trail ride middle of February in Okaihau 12km.
Spent 3 weeks starting 5 horses including 3 beautiful palominos by Showtym Spotlight (Texas). Spent the first week working them on the rope, round penning and saddling them up. The next week was spent riding them in the round pen, for the remaining week they were hacked out on the farm and on the last day they were quite enough for the owners to ride out on a trek around the farm.
